ay 4: If fish is your thing, start your day in the usual way, with a good breakfast, then make a trip to the Aquarium of the Americas in Woldenberg Park. In addition, check out one of the great IMAX films showing that day. It is right there next door to the Aquarium. If you don't want to look at sealife, or want to fill in your afternoon with another top attraction, then take the ferry across the mighty Mississippi to Algiers Point and walk on over to Mardi Gras World for a sneak preview of your future trip to the real Mardi Gras. You will get a true taste of the celebration and craziness that is the New Orleans Mardi Gras, with films of Mardi Gras and real-life floats actually used in the biggest parades. Return to the other side of the river, and stroll the riverfront from the Quarter to the Riverwalk. If you like to gamble, walk on over to Harrah's Casino, where you can take a chance on your luck, then have dinner in the Quarter. You'll never run out of spots in which to dine. If you are staying outside of the Quarter, you may want to return to your lodging by way of the streetcar or a taxicab.
