Sun Oak Museum & Guesthouse Built circa 1836, this restored Nathan-Lewis-Cizek home is an unusual Greek Revival cottage with galleries in front. The facade is painted in an unusual color scheme: rust-red-colored bricks are separated by yellow-painted lines of mortar, with bright-blue shutters and doors. There are two guest rooms,
both with baths, furnished in antiques from the French, Creole, and Acadian periods, and accented with colors ranging from French red to Egyptian blue. The continental breakfast includes croissants, juice, preserves, coffee, and tea. |
